ABOUT
Oh Hey!
As you can probably tell from my logo my name is Sarina! I'm a small town girl born and raised in Napanee, Ontario and yes that is the same town where Avril Lavigne grew up. I love to travel but I am definitely a homebody at the same time. I am one of those people who can be super shy at first but once I get to know you then I don't really shut up.
A few fun facts about me:
- A am an aunt to twins (they are 5 and crazy)
- I went to University of Guelph for agriculture my major was Equine Management
- My first job was milking cows on a dairy farm
- I love to fish and spend time at my cottage
- I have two sisters and I'm the middle child
- Growing up I danced, did cheerleading, played rugby and showed cows
- I have traveled to many US states, Canadian provinces, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, France and Ireland and I can't wait to explore many more places!
- I'm addicted to latte's and pizza
The backstory to my Business
This may not be the best quality photo but the lady in the photo is my beautiful Mother and she is one of the reasons why I became a photographer.
Her name was Darlene and that is also my middle name. Her favourite colour was purple which is why the flowers in my logo are purple.
Being a mom she was always the one behind the camera taking pictures of me, my sisters and my Dad. She literally brought her camera everywhere! In 2010 she unfortunately passed away in an accident and my life was changed forever. She never got to see the business I built but she always supported me no matter what. Now all I have left are her memories and photos of her to look back on.
I feel that it is SO important to capture every moment big and small. Photos are something special that you will treasure forever!
